New Domain Registration

1. Click on the 'Edit Domain/Email Info' link located within the 'My Account' section of the Visual WebTools/Tools Manager.

2. Click on 'Register a NEW DOMAIN NAME' link and another window will now open.

3. Enter in the desired domain name (without the www) to verify its availability in the text field and click on the 'Check Domain Name' button. It may take a few minutes to check for its availability so please be patient.

4. If the domain name you have chosen is available you will have the ability to choose the same domain name with different extensions (.net or .org). It is recommended that you choose the others as well to ensure you have that unique domain name and people visit your site without fail.

5. Click on the 'Reserve Now!' button.

6. Verify that all information is correct. If it is not then close the window (by clicking on the X in the upper right corner of your browser) and go back to the Visual WebTools main page (Tools Manager). If it is correct then go directly to step 7.

7. Click on the 'Edit My Info' link and change necessary information and click on the 'Update' button and then click on the 'Back' button.

8. Click on the 'Edit Domain/Email Info' link and click on 'Register a NEW DOMAIN NAME' link and another window will now open.

9. Enter in a username and password (enter password twice).
Remember to write this down for future reference.

10. Choose your method of payment (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover); card number and expiration date. Please read the "TUCOWS Registration agreement" and the "Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy".

11. Click on the 'I Agree' button to process your Domain Name registration Form.
Only click this button once to avoid duplicate charges.

12. If your credit card was properly accepted you will receive the 'Thank you!' page.
You will want to print this out for your records.

13. Click on the 'Close' link and the window will close.

Your domain name is now associated to your Visual WebTools account and you should be able to view it on the World Wide Web in approximately 2 - 3 business days.
