The WebContacts tool is essentially an electronic card file. It is a terrific way to organize all of your site viewer and customer information. The more organized you are, the better customer service you can deliver and studies show that success in e-Commerce depends largely on customer service.
You can access the WebContacts tool in several ways from the Tools Manager, from WebWizard, Profiler, WebChannels or ClipOn Commerce screens.
Accessing WebContacts from the Tools Manager
Access the WebContacts tool by selecting the WebContacts option in the Tools Manager screen, the header drop-down menus or the footer links. You will be taken to the WebContacts main page. There are several options to choose from.

Add
Contact
This function allows you to add all
kinds of information for your contact: for example, first and last
names, phone and fax numbers, mail and e-mail addresses, and more.
Only the e-mail address field is required. All the fields are
self-explanatory except for the Password
and Channels fields.
Password - This field is optional. If you want to assign a password to a contact, you can do so here. The point of passwords is to protect certain parts of your Web site. You can designate certain pages of your site to be password protected, and only users who have been sent a password will have access to these pages. However, when you assign users to a channel once they have filled out a form, you can request that they be sent an automatically generated password. More on passwords.
Channels - This will display all the WebChannels that you have created. Click the checkbox next to the channel that you want your current contact assigned to.
Edit

View
All Contacts
This will display all your current
contacts, and includes a link to edit each contact. You can also see
all the contact information for a person by clicking on the e-mail address.

Up Custom Fields
Use this function to customize up
to four user-defined fields. Once a field is labeled, it shows up in
the Edit

In addition, it is accessible within WebWizard when you want to add WebContacts
