WebWizard 5

Introduction

The WebWizard™ site design and editing tool is the heart of the V5™ product suite, and the place where your site design begins. In the WebWizard environment you can design and edit all the pages of your Web site. You can create tables and frames, insert images, and edit text. The WebWizard is also where all your WebProfiler forms are placed, and where images from your ClipOn Commerce™ product database are displayed.

All of the menu items in WebWizard tool bar are explained here. The best way to learn about all the options in this program is simply to try them out. Try different text colors, link colors, and page layouts until you find the combination that works best for you.

Start Building your site WebWizard V 5.0 Editor

The largest blank screen on the right side is your WebWizard editor and this is where all the building and editing of your website is done.

On the left side of the editor there is the section called the Left Step and this is essentially your menu and where all the action takes place. Once you click on a function, the menu items for that function will be listed in the Left Step. FOR EXAMPLE: if you click on File in your toolbar and then choose New and select Folder you will see in the Left Step the New Folder.

HOW TO READ YOUR LEFT STEP

The Left Step is separated by website page and folders that you have created. For example a page title would be like index.html or contact.html and a folder would be titled something like Pictures and this would be where all the pictures that you are using in your site would be found. As you can see at the top of your Left Step it will say My Web Site - (title of your project).
