Effects of Service Pack 2
Service Pack 2 contains several security enhancements, some of those enhancements have affected the way the Visual WebTools suite of products functions primarily WebWizard 4.1.
We have identified some modifications that need to be made in order to accommodate the recent updates made by Microsoft®. Please be assured that we are continually working on making our software 100% compatible with Service pack 2.

Active Content changes
Microsoft® has changed how Internet Explorer handles Active Content. They have added what is called the Information Bar. This bar allows you to restrict access to running active X controls.
The Active X control that WebWizard uses is critical in it's normal operation. If the Active X control is blocked from running, then the WebWizard will stop working.
In order to use WebWizard 4.1 after installing Service pack 2 you will need make the following adjustment to your Internet Explorer settings:
Open Internet Explorer.
Click on the Tools menu.
Click on Internet Options.
Click on the Advanced Tab.

Scroll down to the section labeled Security.
Place a check in the box labeled "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer"
Click on OK
Using WebWizard after installing Service Pack 2
Due to the changes made by Microsoft®, WebWizard can now only be accessed by using the Desktop Icon. To access WebWizard through the Desktop icon do the following:
Go to your Desktop
Double click on the WebWizard icon
When prompted, enter in your Visual WebTools username & click sign in.
Creating the WebWizard desktop icon
If your WebWizard desktop icon is missing please do the following to recreate it:
Go to your Desktop.
Right click anywhere on your Desktop.
Left click on New.
Click on Shortcut.
In the box labeled Type the location of the item, enter the following: C:\Program Files\PWEB\VWT Files\webwizard\index.html.
Click Next.
In the box labeled Type a name for this shortcut enter WebWizard.
Click Finish & the Shortcut will be created
